Set a timer for 30 minutes. Grab a bulky, moderately heavy, preferably awkward object such as a bag of dog food, or a loaded plastic tote. Walk 50 steps with it around the yard, or around the house. Set it down and do 10 Push Ups and 20 unweighted squats. Repeat this cycle as many times as possible in the 30 minute period.

You will be doing four Tabatas, each consisting of 8 rounds of 20 seconds work, 10 seconds rest. One minute break between each Tabata. 
Tabata One: Push Ups. Knee pushups are fine if necessary.
Tabata Two: Air Squats
Tabata Three: Elbow Plank
Tabata Four: Mountain Climbers. 
Remember, a properly executed Tabata should bring you close to failure. Which means you should be doing as many reps as possible each interval, without sacrificing form. If you need a timer, there are literally dozens available in the App Store and Play Store.

Starting January 3rd  we will be doing a 4 week rowing challenge.  Each week will have a target number of required meters rowed on the Concept 2 rower. It goes as follows:

January 17th-January 23rd row a total of 21000 meters
January 24th-January 30th row a total of 27000 meters.
